Asia Argento and Ashton Whitty

Ashton Blaise Whitty's birthday is 1 October in Berkeley, California. She is an acclaimed actress who was in Choices (2010). The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2006,) and Chrissie Mayr's Content House.

Asia Argento, born in Rome to a household that includes directors and actors, pursued both professions. In 1985, she made her debut in Sergio Citti's Sogni e bisogni. In 1988 The Church, a film by Michele Soavi The Church was directed by Michele Soavi and she played part of the character Cristina Comencini's Zoo. In 1989, she played Nanni Moretti's daughter as the Red Wood Pigeon. (Also directed by Moretti). Close Friends, written and directed Michele Placido in 1992, was the film that launched Asia's career off. After playing the role of young girls, she shifted to play more complex and more mature roles. It was received well at the Cannes International Film Festival. Trauma was her debut film created together with her father. Her mother Daria Nicoledi, was Argento's most beloved actress. The film Trauma she portrayed an anorexic searching for the murderer of her parents. The Phantom of the Opera is her third movie alongside her father, with her first two movies being Trauma and The Stendhal Syndrome. Asia's focused and intense style of acting has also been used for the part of Giuseppe Piccioni in Condannato a Nozze. In addition, she had a prominent role in the international cast of Queen Margot which was directed by Patrice Chereau. In 1995, she was in a role in a film with Michel Piccoli as Traveling Companion as played by Peter Del Monte. This performance earned her an award from David di Donatello (for the best actor) as well as the Grolla of Oro. In 1994, Asia decided to try her hand at filmmaking and made two short films, Prospettive and Prospettive In 1996 she directed a documentary on her father. In 1998, she directed a documentary about the legendary director Abel Ferrara, Abel/Asia (1998) and was awarded an award at the Rome Film Festival. In 1999, Asia began her film-directing career with Scarlet Diva (2000), where she played the leading actress and author of the screenplay. It was released on May 20, 2000, both in Italy and across the globe. It received a prestigious prize at the Williamsburg Film Festival in Brooklyn. Anna Lou was her first born child in the year 2001. After directing several music videos, she got Anna Lou. She starred with Jean-Marc Barr on The Red Siren, directed by Olivier Megaton. In 2003 she was in Vin Diesel and Rob Cohen's action-thriller. Asia is the creator of a number of short stories that were released in several magazines.
